We checked in at 8 pm and were out by 10:45 am but I think this might be an ok place if you have kids or dogs. It’s a small property and the “hidden lake” is really nothing more than a large pond, much too small for boating or kayaking.
Fishing is catch and release only. They boast 67 pull thru sites with full hookups. But the most interesting amenity is probably the water slide. They also have an onsite RV repair and a store with parts.
Contrary to the name, invoking visions of a beautiful mountain lake amongst the woods, this is between the freeway and a subdivision. I was surprised at how much freeway noise there was. No dog park but some empty fields. And you can take a nice walk around the lake, probably 1/8 to 1/4 mile. While we were walking, a pack of large feral dogs came out of the trees nearby to watch us… be aware and don’t let your dogs off leash.
I paid $30 for one night. There is a storm shelter, community clubhouse, laundry, bathrooms, and showers but I didn’t check any of this out.
